Important notice regarding reservation

To better serve as many members as possible, we have a "Reservation Deposit System".
This system allows us to avoid "duplicate reservations for the purpose of temporarily holding vehicles", "mischief", "unpaid cancellation fee", or other issues.
Reservations are settled as soon as you pay the reservation deposit at the time of the reservation, and this is called "Reservation deposit system". 20% of the rental fee shall be paid as a reservation deposit, and its payment is settled upon confirmation by the company.
Payment procedure for the reservation deposit is stated below.

*Please note that customer service in English by phone or at store may not be always available.

*Our service is exclusive to our members only. (also applies to temporary users)

Required Documents as a Foreign National

Required Documents

  • Passport
  • Credit Card *The below *1 and *2 are required if you don't have a credit card.

    *1 Cash deposit (compensation)

    *For customers who lives overseas or who does not have a Japanese driver's license (not including residents of Japan), credit cards are required for the reservation deposit.
    We will collect the stipulated amount of cash deposit at pickup and refund the full amount upon your return. Additional charges, if any, will be subtracted from the deposit.

    *2 More than two of the following documents either showing your current address or verifying your identification

    Passport/Alien Registration Card/Resident Card/Employee's ID Card・Student ID Card (with photograph)
    *Must be issued within the past two months.

  • International Driver's License (Based on the Geneva Convention on Road Traffic)

    *Driver's license issued in foreign country (County or region, which does not issue the international driver's license and has the driving license system equivalent to that of Japan (Currently 5 countries, Republic of Italy, Swiss Confederation, Federal Republic of Germany, French Republic, and Kingdom of Belgium, and 1 region, Taiwan. (Limited to the one with Japanese translation by those specified by the Cabinet Order.))

Membership Registration

Please register if you are not yet a member.

*If you can check the Japanese website, please fill out the membership registration form from there.
*You will receive the confirmation email for approval within one to three days at earliest.

1.Register at our store (takes about 15 minutes) or email us with the following information.

*Your company (school) information is required even for leisure use.
*We will ask you about lodging information (item 18 - 21) if you stay in Japan only for short-term.

  • Login ID (8 to 32 half-width alphanumeric/characters)
  • Password (8 to 32 half-width alphanumeric/characters)
    *For customers who lives overseas, and have plans to rent cars from us more than once every year, the company will issue an ID and password. Otherwise, this information will not be necessary./li>

2.Examination of Membership Qualification

*The application will not be denied unless there is a false information or some deficiencies.
*By policy, we will not disclose the examination criteria in any way.

Availability Check and Reservations

1.Please let us know of your desired car model and planned pickup date by phone or email to check the availability.
For customers who understand Japanese, vehicle availability may be checked on our Japanese webpage.

2. To settle the payment of the reservation deposit *Reservation Deposit is required at the time of reservation.

Reservation Over the Phone
For Japanese speakers, please make a reservation over the phone with the below stated information to avoid any miscommunication. *When we have English speaking staff available, you can also make a reservation in English.
Upon confirmation of vehicle availability, we will process the payment of the reservation deposit as well as the reservation or the temporary reservation (in case payments of the reservation deposit is made by bank transfer/cash transfer over the phone).

Walk-in Reservation
Please provide the below information to our staff at the store.
Upon confirmation of vehicle availability, we will process the payment of the reservation deposit as well as the reservation.

Online Reservation
Please enter the required information for rental on the company's Japanese website, and make a payment from the reservation deposit payment screen by entering the required credit card information. Upon confirmation of payment, reservation will be completed. *Online payment is available only when payment is made with credit card.

E-mail Reservations
Please send the below information by E-mail. As our staff confirms the reservation details and amounts, "URL for the credit card payment screen" will be sent to you from a member of our staff.
As the customers completes payment on the payment screen, our staff will confirm and reply back with the completed reservation E-mail. This shall be the end of the reservation process.
*Our staff who checks English e-mails may not be available on Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays, so please inquire well in advance.
*The payment screen URL page for credit card payment is run by an outside credit card transaction clearing agency, so payments are settled securely.

*For reservation, please be sure to email us with the following information.
"*We accept reservations only by email to avoid any mistake or misunderstanding.

Please select from the following payment methods on the rental start date.

  • On the rental start date, void the reservation deposit amount paid by credit card, and the total payment amount is paid in cash.
  • On the rental start date, void the reservation deposit amount paid by credit card, and the total payment amount shall be paid through bank transfer. (Only for residents of Japan)
  • On the rental start date, change the amount of the reservation deposit paid by credit card, and pay the total amount at once.
  • On the rental start date, separately from the reservation deposit, the net amount shall be paid with the same credit card or another card.
  • On the rental start date, separately from the reservation deposit, the net amount shall be paid in cash.
  • Until the rental start date, separately from the reservation deposit, the net amount shall be paid through bank transfer. (Only for residents of Japan)

3. Payment procedure for the Reservation Deposit
*Reservation Deposit is required at the time of reservation.

When the cancellation fee is processed, we cannot refund the reservation deposit.
When the cancellation fee is processed, we will offset the reservation deposit (20% of the rental fee) as a reservation cancellation fee. If there is a difference in the amounts, payment methods shall be as follows:

・ When the reservation deposit is paid by credit card........Payments can be made with the same credit card.
・ When the reservation deposit is paid by cash at walk-in..........Please pay by cash at the store, or we shall settle the payment by asking for credit card information.
・ When the reservation deposit is paid by a bank transfer..............Please pay through a bank transfer, or we shall settle the payment by asking for credit card information. (Walk-in Payment with cash is also available).

Method of payment for the reservation deposit with credit card

Online Reservation

The reservation deposit may be paid directly by the member by entering the member's credit card information on the reservation application form on our Japanese web page.
The reservation shall be settled at the completion of the payment.

Reservation Over the Phone

Our staff will inquire with the member about the members' credit card information over the phone, and they will process the registration for the reservation as well as the settlement of the reservation deposit.
Reservation is settled immediately after the call or during the call.

Walk-in Reservation

As the member walks into the store, our staff will process the reservation deposit in person.
Reservation is made upon payment with credit card.

E-mail Reservation

Our staff will inquire about the details required for the reservation by E-mail, and will send you the URL for the payment. After the payments are settled by you through this URL and confirmed by our staff, the reservation is completed.

*Note In case the credit card information is incorrect or use of the card is restricted by the credit card company, reservation cannot be settled.

Method of payment for a reservation deposit with cash and bank transfer * We do not accept the payment through overseas bank transfer.

Reservation Over the Phone

Please tell our staff that you are going to "pay for the reservation deposit with cash", and our staff will process a "temporary reservation registration".
Please make a payment through a bank transfer to the stated bank account below (*b) within 3 days of the temporary reservation (*a *In case of Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, and Public Holidays, within 4 days) If the amount cannot be confirmed as received at (*a) within 3 days , the temporary reservation will be canceled.
*This cancellation does not apply if payments are made by walk in during the above stated time period.

Walk-in Reservation

As the member walks into the store, our staff will process the reservation deposit in person.
Reservation is made upon payment.

Please E-mail our staff stating that you are going to "Pay for the reservation deposit with cash", and our staff will process a "temporary reservation registration".
Please make a payment through a bank transfer to the stated bank account below (*b) within 3 days of the temporary reservation (*In case of Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, and Public Holidays, within 4 days) If the amount cannot be confirmed as received at (*a) within 3 days , the temporary reservation will be canceled.
*This cancellation does not apply if payments are made by walk in during the above stated time period.

PREMIUM RENTACAR Deposit bank account (*b)

*Bank transfer fee shall be paid by the customers.

Please make a payment by E-mail through the URL stated below, or call us to process a payment in the amount notified by the Company.
Upon the completion of the payment, please E-mail or call our staff to confirm that you have completed the payment.

4.Finalize and Confirm Your Reservation

*You will receive the confirmation email of your reservation after we check the contents.

5.Reservation Complete

*Please be sure to thoroughly check the website as well as the contents of the Rental Agreement, as we may not be able to assist you in English at the time of pickup and return, given that the number of our English-speaking staff is only limited.

Point Cards You can get 1 stamp per rental regardless of the price you pay.

Rewards1

If you save 20 points, your standard point card will be upgraded to "VIP Card," with which you can get 20% discounts on the rental fees.

Rewards2

With 20 more points, the VIP Card will be upgraded to "Premium Card" that will give you 30% discounts on the rental fees.

  • To get a stamp, please present your card when you pay as well as when you return the rented vehicle.
  • If you lose your point card or if it is stolen, the saved points will also be lost.
  • Either you or your family members can use your point card; please do not lend or give it to anyone else.
  • You cannot add points later if you forget to present your point card at the time of pickup and/or return.
  • Though special discounts for VIP Card or Premium Card cannot be used together with other campaigns, the points will be added.
